Reliable as always

This was my third time booking with Expedia AU, and they didn't disappoint. I got another great deal on a car rental for my business trip, similar to previous experiences. It's consistently reliable, and I know I can count on them for decent prices and a smooth booking process. That's why I keep coming back.

Mostly good, delivery was okay

Booked a holiday home for a family trip. The booking process was straightforward, and the price was competitive. The property itself was as described, no issues there. My only minor gripe was that getting the confirmation emails took a bit longer than I expected, but it all came through in the end. Overall, a solid experience.

Saved a decent amount

I was looking for a good price on a hotel for a quick getaway, and Expedia AU had some good hotel deals. I found a great rate, and combined with a last-minute deal, it made the purchase feel really worthwhile. Definitely felt like I got good value for my money, which is what I was after.

Detailed breakdown of my booking

I recently used Expedia AU to book an international flight to New Zealand. The website's search filters were quite helpful in narrowing down options, showing various airlines and times. The booking form was clear, and I appreciated the breakdown of costs before final payment. My e-ticket arrived promptly after payment. I had a query about baggage allowance, and their online chat support was responsive, though it took about 10 minutes to connect to an agent. The flight details were accurate, and I had no issues checking in. It was a good overall experience, making my first international trip booking less stressful.

Good deal on my trip

Booked a flight and hotel bundle for my trip to Sydney last month. It was pretty easy to navigate the site, and everything went smoothly. Got a good price too, felt like a decent saving overall. Will probably use them again.

So happy with my holiday!

I booked a beach holiday package through Expedia AU and it was fantastic! The resort was gorgeous, and the flight times were perfect. Everything was so well organised. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be booking all my future holidays here!

Hey guys, thinking of booking a flight+hotel package for my trip to Sydney next month. Is it actually cheaper to do the bundle on Expedia AU or should I just book separately?

A Alex Jackson 1 month ago
Yeah, I always bundle. Usually saves me a decent chunk, especially for bigger trips. Like, I saved nearly $200 on my last holiday to Perth.

It really depends. Sometimes it is, sometimes not by much. You gotta compare it carefully. But I've definitely had good luck with bundles before, especially if you're not super picky about the hotel.

Does Expedia AU offer any kind of student discount? Or is that only for specific airlines/hotels?

B Betty Jones 4 days ago
I don't recall seeing a general student discount. They usually have member pricing or app deals, but nothing specifically for students, afaik.

Not that I know of. Your best bet is probably to look for the bundle deals or last-minute sales, those usually give good savings regardless.

Heard about app exclusive discounts. How do I actually get them? Just download the app and they pop up?

D Danielle Moore 1 week ago
Mostly, yeah. Just download it and usually there are special codes or prices that only show up in the app. I saved like 10% on a hotel in Melbourne that way.

They often have app-only codes. Sometimes you see them advertised in the app itself, or just the prices for certain hotels or flights are lower in the app automatically.

Can I stack coupon codes on Expedia AU? Like, use a percentage off AND a specific dollar amount code on one booking?

I Ian 1 week ago
No, you can only use one coupon per booking. I tried that once and it only let me apply one.

S Sofia T. 1 week ago
Pretty sure it's just one code at a time. Most travel sites are like that, unfortunately.

My flight plans changed, need to cancel a hotel booking I made on Expedia AU. Is it a huge hassle to cancel or pretty straightforward?

P Paul Jones 3 weeks ago
Depends on the booking. If you picked the 'free cancellation' option, it's usually super easy, just a few clicks. If not, you might have fees.

I had to cancel a hotel once. It was okay, but I made sure to pick a refundable room when I booked. Just check your booking details to see if it says 'free cancellation'.
